I don't understand how people can embrace this form of
punishment, no matter what the crime.

I just can't, and I hope I never will..

My point exactly, he fucked up, and they justify it by
killing the guy, and if you notice the crime happened back
in the 80s!

Well, let me rephrase that,

"He fucked up, and the think they can justify it, by
executing him"

Some people still think like damn cave men!

Texas used to post all their inmates last meals and last
words.

It was quite fascinating, a number of them were quite
adiment about being the wrong guys and etc.

Anyway, it made news a few weeks ago when the state decided
to take down that website.

I don't know about all of those, but stoning made the news
recently when a women was sentenced to death by stoning from
a mob, when she was found to have cheated on her husband.

they actually dig a hole, then pile sand up to your neck,
and people get to throw rocks at your head until you die.

THAT my friends, is fucking awful

I'm for the death penalty UNLESS they can bring the poor
soul they killed back to life. Oh, I'm against it if the
poor soul was murdered more than ten years ago, too. No one
really cares about anyone that's been dead for more ten
years.

The problem with execution is making damn sure you have the
right person! Otherwise......errrrrrrrrrrr.....not much you
can do afterwards.
