OK, so I am deciding between

PLAID - Spokes

I definitely want this, the only issue is whether I should
download the entire album for $10 or if I should waste money
buying specific tracks. People seem to have a few specific
favorites, although I have only heard zeal which I think is
excellent.

Chris Clark - Empty the Bones of You

Haven't heard this at all, was waiting for a new album after
Clarence Park for a year, then somehow never got around to
listening to this, is it excellent? Specific tracks?
etc.

Chris Clark - Cermamics is the Bomb

Might want this, but already have Rob Lee, are the other
tracks worthwhile?

Anything else special? Is Bleep going to put up a third
party catalog? Mu, rephlex, etc?

Could you guys take a break from yelling at each other about
whether or not to support artists??

Here I am trying to use the internet to pay for music --
help a brother out!

from ceramics is the bomb i'd only take the last 2 tracks,
with spokes i'd say get them all, except for 'get what you
gave' maybe..but you might as well buy that one too when you
take the rest,

still, if i were you i'd smack down some more bucks and just
get it on cd (or vinyl), but that's personal

I think I'm just gonna get spokes.

The thing is I would only buy vinyl, owning a CD is
worthless to me because all my music goes into the powerbook
then the ipod and the cd just takes up space, I don't care
that much about the artwork. The problem with buying vinyl
is that the sound quality on my tables isn't that high, and
I would have to go through the work of ripping it into mp3
which is how I listen music 90% of the time

I don't like this ''paying for ones and zeroes'' stuff. If
you've got the cash to dole out on these, may as well get
the Real McCoy. [/bitch]

Personally out of the three you named, would take ceramics.

BLEEP. i love plaid, but i just cant into spokes.

I think ceramics is the WORST choice out of those. I'm not a
Clark hater because I fucking love Empty the Bones, thats a
definate must have. I like it better than spokes, which is
also good.

-- too late, just got spokes...well I'll consider this an
experiment, I'll see how happy I am paying for mp3s. I'm
always talking about/arguing/writing papers about paying not
paying for music, I think I should at least try the new
revolution in music purchase.

CDs are just ones and zeroes anyway...
