Jacob's Ladder was about some chemical they tried to use on
the soldiers to make them savages, but they ended up killing
each other and not the enemy.

Jacobs Ladder looks interesting, I read somewhere it
influenced the Silent Hill games

I've never seen Apocalypse Now, so my vote goes for Full
metal jacket.

way to spoil it for everyone, that was the whole mystery of
it.

pantalaimon: yeah it was the reason the silent hill games
were made. it was used as a template

what similarities are there between Silent Hill and Jacob's
Ladder? Music? Atmosphere? I always thought Silent Hill was
very similar to a David Lynch film.

its strange how the same director made films like "Indecent
Proposal" and "Unfaithful".

ohh go see jacobs ladder, go see it soon!
silent hill used the atmoshere (some music) and enemy detail
and movement from the movie.

also the texture of the walls from reality to that hellish
nowhere state.

its all from jacobs ladder.
technically silent hill is a total rip of this movie but i
love the games so much
