supposedly there'll be secret simultaneous gig tomorrow
evening in New York and London by Deaf Blind Females, the
original group split and devided between the two cities,
each with guestmusicians.

they're going to try to simultaneously play the same
songs!!

should be cool.

supposedly the double concert should also be webcast, but
it's on a secret website - the DBF gave one clue as to the
whereabouts of this fabled site: "As hard as the eye, the
Rubik's cube is."
. mm.

I wouldn't be surprised if DBF rock my socks off. The
double thing is no doubt some DBF internet 'goof' new style
promotion shit.

they're like a Strokes/White Stripes nu-guitar kind of band
using acoustic electronics, all of it firmly based on the
dramatic principles that Antonin Artaud held.

or so I hear.

yeh, did you see the main DBF forum?

some guys were saying that this was DBFs comment on todays
internet-influenced society or something like that, and Jess
Ramen (bassplayer of DBF) logged on and called them a "bunch
of cocking wankers".

I bet, I bet.

the rumour was that Kim Gordon was one of the guest
musicians, but she would probably join the London half of
the group.

well, it's only a rumour, but it would be cool if she does
come.

other names mentioned are Nick Cave, Peaches and Julian
Casablancas, but that last one is probably a joke. there's
also mentioning of some kind of Benny Hill impersonator that
supposedly is quite famous in Claire Fallon's hometown, but
I can't remember the name.

Julian Casablancas? Isn't that the guy who blew up the stage
when he was opening for DBF?

..no. the leadsinger of The Strokes..?

Claire Fallon tried to punch him in the face about a year
ago, but she missed and tripped over a small glass statue
that was just behind Casablancas. she had to get all
stitched up.
