Just noticed they had his album Bayou Paradis at EMusic so I'm downloading it... it's gorgeous shimmering minimal techno - love the mood. I can see where you'd get sick of it fast if you weren't in the mood though. first track - La Soleil (that should be Le) - You know what it reminds me of, is skidoos - the best track off Akufen's My Way album. |

i don't like it very much, all the tracks sound the same to me. the style is too narrow. |

Yeah, it's the other guy from LFO. Dobbin, you're right about the style being narrow I guess... some of the tracks even sound like remixes of each other. But it's so blissed out I don't care. |

i've heard one track, "old school drift," from a quatermass mix, it's unbelievably great. |

Ha, gotta look that up then. He's a master of the big ass but tight kick drum that does not fart out. And those shifty shimmering pads, like cold fingers on the back of my neck! |
