Favorite Strategy-RPG of all time...everything is flawless
IMO. Very addictive as well...must of beaten it at least 4
times....and level my chars to 99 with all these little
equation possibilites with level up/down.

Haven't played it in a long time though...maybe I'll get to
it this summer. The GBA version was such a letdown compared
to this. :[

Yeah, tactics is great! hows FFx2? I wanna check that out in
time before they come out with FF12!

Other than the fact that it had an unfollowable, boring, and
irrelevant plot, it was one of the PlayStation's best
titles.

yeah the plot is extremely unfollowable but who cares... i'm
sure u can read a mini novel on it. the game does take place
in a million places. i just enjoy playing the game, if i
wanted to see overdone storyline and movies i'd get FF 8-10

I haven't gotten to play Tactics Advance yet, but the copy
of FFT I own right now is actually my second copy.. I sold
it once and rebought it, that's how much I love this game.
Tactical RPGs rock, and this is the creme of the crop. And
what was wrong with the plot? it wasn't unfollowable to me
at all, but that's just me.

Haven't gotten around to Tactics Advance yet, but the PS1
game gave me infinite hours of strategy RPG bliss. I think I
had a 70 hour save on there once, the longest I've ever had
in an RPG.

The plot is critically acclaimed, but I confess I usually
just skipped through it and got on with the ass kickin'.

I remember I used to have Vandal Hearts for PS1, which was a
very nice game, too. The geysers of blood when you kill a
guy is an unforgettable image.

Shining Force 1 and 2 are my alltime favorite games of that
genre, though.

Vandal Hearts is the shit! I can play the main theme on my
keyboard... you know that Ocarina line Ash always plays...
I've been trying so hard to pick up a copy of Vandal Hearts
2 on ebay as that game looks even more badass than the
original.

My cousin has both of them, and he said part 2 is kind of a
waste of time, a step backwards. I'd still like to get it
though.

Vandal Hearts 1 is one of the best PS games of the early
generation of the system....right up there with Suikoden.
Vandal Hearts 2 wasn't quite as good as #1 with the
customization and battles, BUT VH2 had an awesome plot to
it.

As for the FFT plot....I followed it just fine...thinking
back on it I don't have any difficulty trying to understand
things. Nothing compared to the ???? Xenogears and Chrono
Cross use to leave me.
