i like big boi's, and while dre's album impressed me on what a departure it was, i can't picture myself picking it up in 6 months or so and putting it in my cd player for a full listen.
it was more novelty imo.

if you like the singles, you will like the album i'd say. i like the singles too and i love the album(s).
people who find the singles annoying (Hey Ya!) will probably find at least the entire Andre3000 side annoying. i find it funny. like a Ween album if Ween did dirt south hip hop.

they're both good. if you don't like rap, you won't like big boi's, but you might like dre's. I think dre's has too many weak tracks, though, and is a little long.

Funkmaster if you want good hip-hip get Viktor Vaughn "Vaudville Villain" or Cyne's "Time Being". Blow me Outkast.
