based on sales statistics in US and Canada.

1*50 cent - get rich or die tryin
2*norah jones - come away with me
3*linkin park - meteora
4*evanescence - fallen
5*outkast - speakerboxx-love
6*beyonce - dangerously in love
7*r.kelly - chocolate factory
8*hilary duff - metamorphosis
9*toby keith - shock n y'all
10*coldplay - rush of blood to the head

i like beyonce (musically...and, well, generally)
i like couple of 50 cent and norah jones tunes
and i like one tune by coldplay

i don't know:
-linkin park
-evanescence
-hilary duff
-toby keith

and i don't like outkast and r.kelly.

can someone tell me (if there's anything good to tell) about
those i don't know?

the entire list is a load of bumfluff

I heard most of Linkin Park's record and all of
Evanescence's and they are both shit.

My rocker mates all seem to loathe Evanescence with a
passion... even more than Linkin Park and the Nu-Metal genre
as a whole. Any particular reason for this?

number are quite impressive though :)
50 cent - 6.535.809
coldplay - 2.183.997

jarworski - is evanescence same style as linkin park (i
don't know them but i heard they're like that fred durst
band - can't remember the name heh)

Yes, so much so that when I first heard their first track I
thought it was Linkin Park with a female guest
singer. I'm not the only one who was mistaken this way
either...

most of these acts are upsetting in how crap they are, but
easily ignorable by me. But 50 cent and r kelly are really,
really awful, so bad it acutally hurts when i listen to
them...and the was the public seems to cum all over coldplay
is really pissing me off as well. if your looking to find
out why so many people like them i would like an answer as
well.

Well, perhaps because they're awful? :) Seriously, they
combine all the forms of whiney rock angst and wrap it up
with such banal pomposity and hysterics that they can induce
huge amounts of loathing within seconds. And yes tolstoyed,
they do sound very similar to LP when they do the "metal"
thing, half the album is taken up with dreadful insipid goth
ballads though.

4. Broadcast - Haha Sound

5. Kraftwerk - Tour de France Soundtracks

inflation of the 90's only worse....

Sun Kil Moon is perfect recreation for my ears, when I've
listened to electronica for a while. Smooth

50 cent rules
r.kelly sucks testicles
norah jones i can't handle. poison to my sensitive ears
i would prefer to listen to coldplay backward as if it were
them icelandic guys who do the 15 minute songs of whom i
cant quite think of the name.
linkin park makes some (and i stress some) ok songs: in the
end for example.
evanescence as the others say are like linkin park, however
limp bizkit beat both.
outkast i like except for the fuckin hey ya song.
hilary duff shouldnt be singing cos she's an actor.
toby keith i ain't heard of.
mmmmmmmmnnnnnnnnnhhhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyeeeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!
and beyonce is too hot !!!!!!!

actually I liked that performance... made me consider buying
their new album... but I have their last two, and don't
listen to them much so I haven't... I really want to get the
new Outkast album(s) though... the two singles are kick ass
fun, and there is nothing wrong with fun music...

that outkast album is bomb.
i think it's great that something interesting and original
is doing a bit of saturation into pop culture.

I hate Coldplay, how they can be (supposedly) influenced by
bands like Echo and the Bunnymen and the Cure and 'still' be
shit is beyond me.

seriously, I think their two albums are excellent... and the
singers fiance (forget her name dammit) is hot and seems
real nice! :)

different stroke for different folks I guess... I find their
songs have nice melodies, that's all it usually takes with
me... plus, I really like Chris Martins voice... so I really
like em!

that woman in evanescence (amy lee?) has a great voice, such
a shame they sound like Linkin Park with female vocals.
Maybe she would be better off solo and working with some
decent musicians.

yes, Gwenith Paltrow or something... she is gorgeous, and
she was on Conan the other night and seemed really nice and
down to earth... lucky guy that Chris Martin!

I think Amy Lee is hot for some reason, as fake as she is,
and that's Evanescence's only asset. The only album I've
heard in its entirety here is Outkast's, and I heard about
half of Coldplay's. Lists like this are disheartening. I
don't even know who Toby Keith and Hilary Duff are...

Dido sold the most with 2.1 million copies, but the Chillis
were second after the sales of By The Way and Greatest Hits.
The singles chart makes for even worse reading...
