Question About Nord's

This is a question for people who are familiar with
nords...

in theory, could you recreate a Nord 2 and/or 3 with the
nord modular? (either the original or G2)

It would seem it wouldn't be too hard... the signal flow of
the Nord 2 & 3 could be duplicated as a patch... resulting
in basically the same sounds... am I correct?

Or are the 2 & 3 specifically enhanced, in such a way you
can't get a completely accurate recreation?

Just for curiousity sake... it would be cool to be able to
make a patch that in effect, gave you all the options (and
much more... but thats not the point) of these other 2
synths.

Thanks :)

There is some truth in what you are saying but i think your
second answer is more accurate.

I've heard they use the nord modulars alot to design sounds
on other platforms (Nordlead 2, 3, Nord Electro...)
So I guess it's possible...

you wouldn't happen to have a link to your source on that
would you?

Im not saying the don't do it, by any means... I just can't
see the practicality in it...
