Hello All,

www.mp3.com/ochre

Please may someone check out some of my music and let me
know what they think? I write electronic music influenced by
Aphex, Ae, BoC, NIN etc - please see site for more details.
In particular, I'd be really rather chuffed if anyone gave
me some feedback on my latest track 'Children Playing with
Lego'. It has a cool Ae beat with some pretty chords.
Please check it out and let me know - I'd appreciate it so
much.

Thanks a lot,

Chris.

Chris from Newcastle, England. on 2001-04-26 14:36 [#00004720]

Cheers Aron and Reflex for taking the time out to listen to
my stuff - I really appreciate it!
Yeah, Children Playing with Lego is my latest track, it's
also my favourite.

Hey Recycle - Ochre rhymes with Broker, not Ortecker.
Cheers for showing mild interest in me anyway! ;)
Ochre's something to do while I wait for the next Aphex Twin
release anyway. Is anyone else a bit disappointed with
Autechre's 'Confield'?

Cheers again for the listen,

Chris.

Ooh, good timing sir. Apparently Sound System Bangers EP
will be out on the 6th October, according to distributors
Cargo.

As for longplayers, I'm working on tracks now, resisting the
urge to upload, then i'll see who wants to put it out.

Just won a new synth writing a tune for a Zelda competition
- a nice Access Indigo, so I'm trying to get my head round
it and use it for a few tunes.

Yup, back in sunny heaton. Holy shmoly - Aphex at the uni?
I might just check that out. Not so sure about the Snares
though, he scary.

eX - I don't really fancy uploading the zelda tune... ah
maybe I will, it's just a bit twee as you might imagine.
Apparently it'll be on the Computer and Video Games site
though, maybe DJ Mag too? They both held the comp basically
- won a silver gamecube with windwaker too, which has seen
more action than the synth, to be honest. :)

hhaahha - system failure! Haven't listened to that for at
least 2 years. :O Glad you still like it though.

The tickets for the rephlex night do not name aphex, however
the site does mention him.

Might see you there,

Would it be fair to call Ochre underrated? I would think so.
I remember browsing around looking for new tunes to
download. I think i burnt it on a CD and played it for my
friends. They liked it.

Bi-polar bears was a favorite of mine and i must say that
low grav free fall was skillfully put together!

Okay, the very twee poo Zelda rmx (which won me a very nice
Access Indigo synth and a Platinum Edition Nintendo Gamecube
with Zelda, don't you know) is now up on my site.
You might have to dig about a bit to find it, though it is
on the music page. Blink and you'll miss it. ;)
