I'm wondering, how is it that a lot of CDs have this thing where like for example track 1 will flow into track 2 without any break in the sound? Do they have some special way of doing this? I have tried doing this with my own noise, but it always ends up cracking on the flow thru.

depends on what kind of burn-program you use.

You can set it up in a wav editor. I use Sound Forge and basically, you just take the two tracks you want run together and layer them. Set a marker at the place where you want track 2 to begin and THEN split the file back into two seperate wavs. When burning to CD, enter no seconds between those two tracks, they should flow seamlessly.
Basically any burning program that allows you to remove pregaps between tracks can do it.
