Is anyone else having this weird problem every once in a
while where your browser will scroll to the bottom of the mb
page you are reading and refuse to scroll back up?

I thought it was just something dumb on my machine, but I
noticed it's doing it on another machine now.

When that happens, using page up usually works. I guess.
Yeah.

ever have that problem where you click reply and nothing
happens then you click it again and nothing happens and then
you close the window and retype in "xltronic.com/mb" only to
discover you double posted?

anyone noticed the problem where sometimes you cant open the
box with 25-50 and so on, on it in the main mb window at the
bottom?

pomme de terre > no...

REFLEX > yes! or sometimes it just opens when i release my
mouse button, and just closes the split second after. which
makes the thing totally useless. frustrating.

yes i have this problem too and i believe it is only at this
site. i never mentioned it before because i thought it was
just something with my machine.

oh god it feels so good to be out. now i know i'm not alone
anymore.

This problem is caused by the most recent upgrade of the
mshtml.dll file (which would have happened last time you did
a windows update). The same thing happened to me. Find the
file in your "c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386\" folder and
copy it over the existing one in your "c:\windows\system32\"
folder. I just did it a couple of hours ago and it works
perfectly now.

Check the version is 6.0.2800.1106 (there's a slightly later
version which works too, but I can't remember which it is -
as long as it's not the current version it will probably
work)

REFLEX > yes, i thought it was because of my mac os x
version of internet explorer : )

(i'd use safari but i only have mac os x 10.1.5 yet)

i have windows 98 and i've found the .dll file in the system
folder but i haven't a folder under
c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386

any idea as to where it would be?

For win 98, no idea. Do a search of the c: drive and when
the file is found, check the version numbers?

hmmmm well i only have the one. well, it's no biggy, if i
click on other things the automatic end scrolling goes away
for a while. maybe i'll look around for a file on the
internet later or something. well, at least i know what's
causing it now. :)
