1)what do you see as the future of music?
whatever happens next. I really hate those kind of questions. they are unanswerable and not just a bit silly.
2)what is your ultimate musical ambition?
making something that amazes myself. although that has happened and is a continuing process - after that amazement, it becomes normal (in other words, I've learned something!).
so maybe a better answer would be to make a coherent record.
3)How would you describe your music?
hard question. music based on texture of sound and movement of sound, maybe?
4)what are your music roots?
alternative rock, man! pixies, nirvana, breeders, etc. and then I opened up to electronic music through autechre. yeh.

i would like it to be described as unique. but it isn't. currently floats somewhere around idm.
4)what are your music roots?

this thread is cool.
1)what do you see as the future of music? everything will be the same as today, there will be the simplistic music that the public can grasp, blared on the radio and televisions, and the complex and artistic music that all the musicians and college students will listen to. the only thing that will be different in the will take those places, as new genres are invented every few years.
2)what is your ultimate musical ambition? to afford to live while ONLY doing drugs and making music.
3)How would you describe your music? idm post rock
4)what are your music roots? um....well if this question means what i THINK it does, i grew up listening to my parents shitty folk music and my brother's mediocre classic rock, then got into nu-metal when i was an angsty teenager and bands like korn were just inventing the genre. then i got into electronic through prodigy and orbital, and eventually made my way to idm.
