yeah that is a bit wierd given the number of things that can go wrong with email messages. |

Nope- I've tried to get in touch... Her mobile is either not on or she isn't answering it. She did mention in the email vodafone is down in her area today. I've left a message and a txt, but unless she rings to say otherwise in the next half hour, I'll consider it off for this weekend. |

Who is Sean? I've just had a txt promising a phone call "as soon as she can" and the wording is now that her parents don't want me to go there, with no mention of it being related to her mother's illness... most strange. I'll have to wait and see what she says. |

I don't think you're being selfish at all. Of course you're going to be a bit pissed off, because of all the extra work you put in at work just so you could have some time with her. I know, because I'd be the same - I live nearly two hours drive away from my beloved, and we don't get to see each other because of that and money/work/college/etc. If you are considering breaking up with her, that suggests to me that you would like to be with someone who isn't going to be "tied down" to other comittments (is that spelt right??). That's not a bad thing to want. If that is the case, then it might be a good idea to let things cool off for a bit. Talk to her and explain that maybe you two should have a bit of time off for a couple of weeks, and think about things...reassess your lives. Try to emphasise that it's not anything to do with her or anything, just that she's going through some life changes and that family is imnportant and such. I'm probably making a pig's ear trying to offer advice. |

my advice is to just wait... I'd be feeling let down and a bit annoyed myself, but you can't really blame her... just call her, try and get in contact with her... ask her how her mother is,. etc... if you care about her, and like her, just wait and see how things go... if you really can't seem to make time to meet up, maybe it's not meant to be... but just wait and see anyways... no use making some rash decisions... like I always do... :) |
