I only get that problem with the rendered wav file if i haven't mixed the track properly, i find that the trick with this is to find the part that is creating the problem and using a parametric eq on the channels to boost a frequency a bit so it dosen't clash, this usally means that the final file dosen't sound mushy when it's rendered or otherwise.
Did that make sense?
