Meh! 8/

example:

I sent myself a message. such as "hi"
it returned the message in the same window "hi" right after
that

So i was wondering how fast it could keep up with my
impeccable typing skills and i'd hit random letters and
numbers as fast as humanly possable

So it looked like:
[virginpusher]
[virginpusher] 3
[virginpusher] 435
[virginpusher] 345
[virginpusher] 45
[virginpusher] 34
[virginpusher] 6456
[virginpusher] 456743
[virginpusher] 74
[virginpusher] 7356
[virginpusher] 85368

and so on but it only returned about 15% of what i entered
and then crashed

sorry everyone!

I'm quite sure you just crashed your own SLSK
program.

slsk is not a server, its just a winsock client. theres no
way you could have crashed it.

I once bashed the keyhboard sending messages as fast as I
could, and next thing I know soulseek disconnects and I
can't get back on for a full day,

maybe it is flood protection?

It would be pretty awesome if you could crash the actual
slsk by typing too fast. I'm gonna go try to crash google
by doing that. Wish me luck.

I tried this yesterday after reading this topic, and I
haven't been able to get on SLSK for about 20 hours. I hate
you.

I think Soulseek regularly crashes under its own power and
really doesn't need any help from any of you...
