Very cool. Dark atmosphere to it.

Interesting. The beat is lacking the full funk that it
deserves but I like the vibe of this track. Some cool quirky
sounds going on here. The beat needs more funk though. I
need loosening up a bit IMO. Its not bad, pretty good. Not
the usual vibe I'd listen to but in the right mood I'd be
digging this nicely. Good job. Yes me likes some reasonable
stuff on the board this evening.

Yes the beat needs a bit more funking up perhaps a bit of
variation. Give this a 7 out of 10. I am still quite
impressed by this though.

im digging this so far. the delayed bass is pretty chill,
but i do agree with promo that the beat could be a little
funkier/more complex. the washes a very cool as well, they
add alot of astmosphere to it. and gotta love the
pseudo-scratching at the beginning

no dude the problem with the drums is that they sound too
preset. too safe.

too destructable.

we need indestructable drums to make it through this swarm
cloud of hate.

oh dude maybe you should replace the snare drum with someone
exhaling sharply

Yes, this track [ant warrior] is excellent. Especially good
use of (record) scratching sounds, seldom done well in
electronica IMO (apart from Mike Dred's stuff). Top stuff.
Nice ethereal ending too.

Bit too much silent padding at the start of [march] but
otherwise pretty good. I'm not a massive fan of glitch,
which is probably why I didn't like it as much as ant
warrior. It still sounds pretty technically impressive
although I reckon the intro is a bit too repetative/long to
keep my attention.

Overall, very good work.

stylistically this isn't something i'd ordinarily go out of
my way to listen to, so it's difficult to productively
comment... definitely the static snare should be changed
and funked up. i think this track has nice sounds and
textures, but needs to be funked up as promo noted. it
sounds good but maybe too pedestrian, familiar.

Very good track hyakusen, to be honest there really isn't
anything I don't like about it.

I liked the track. especially the sound / the depth of it
(though I listened with my speakers, not with my
headphones).
I like it. If you're still progressing into a style, I'd
love to see more variations in the drums.

wickedly sweet stuff (the first one), altho the snaredrum
each 2 beats pisses me off, you might want to drill that
beat up a bit, or throw some dsp trickery over it to sharpen
it up a little

offline handoverthecart on 2004-01-03 09:27 [#01015408]

it has a good "vibe" to it and flows well. the atmosphere
it creates is excellent, but i think i agree with some other
people in that the snare drum seems out of place. i don't
mind the repetition of it really but i think this specific
sample seems to be missing something for this song.
