fuck a stranger in the ass

(sorry i couldnt help myself)

I've noticed that no one has been talking about mr. funk's
crazy ass as of late. i was going through some of my older
vinyl and found copy of greg hates car culture. this was
such a kick ass record! i wish he would have stuck to that
hardcore style, ala skelechairs remix as well. i love the
stuff he does on hymen, but cringe at pretty much everything
else. except for glue funk hits.
anyone else realise this guy puts out like 25 records a
year?

snares is way overrated. who cares that he puts out 25
records a year, his records would be better if he spent an
entire year perfecting one album.

that sort of logic is pretty bullshit to me, sorry.

sure spending time on songs is important. but if you spend 8
hours a day working on tracks for a few months, versus 1-2
hours a day for a year, the outcome can still be the same.
ive spent years on tracks, and ive spent days on tracks. and
they turn out the same, more or less. i felt i spent enough
time getting them to where i wanted. i dont think i would
have to force myself to make a certain track go thousands of
different ways just because i can.

and just because someone spends a year making things doesnt
mean it will be better. it just means you are are dedicated
to certain tracks for a longer period of time. ive heard
stuff from people that they spent a year on, and it was
worse than the stuff they spent days on. it all just
depends, and im not defending snares music, as there is
quite a bit of it i dont like. im just saying that reason
alone for saying someone is overrated is pretty lame to me.

muslimgauze sent soleilmoon and staalplaat master demos
every week. he's been dead since 1999 and they are still
releasing his stuff. do i think of him as any less of an
artist? absolutely not, he's one of the more unique artists
ive heard. and he was insanely dedicated to his music. and
thats why he would pump out things every week, because it
consumed him. so an artist loses his integrity if he
releases more than 3 albums a year? its just not working out
to me.

and?

i didnt see they werent. i could say a track i made 4 years
ago is still "not finished". you could say that to anything.
so what does it matter? might as well be vague and broad
about any subject matter.

Ok, I'll be specific. The track u made 4 years isn't
finished. Cause it probably sucks. That less vague enough?
