Osama Bin Laden

crayon_kid from the inner reaches of your soul... on 2001-12-06 16:21 [#00058659]

alec empire is one of my favorite artists.
i think the reason i like him so much is because he doesn't
make a big deal out of the production. he makes the music
and doesnt fuck around with making it all polished.

Dirtypriest from Denmark on 2001-12-06 16:29 [#00058663]

Yeah its totally primitive and harsh!

you´ve got it!

new band!!!! i cant wait for it....

Alec empire: Everything starts with a fuck

Xanatos from NYC on 2001-12-08 05:53 [#00059020]

Well, apparently most people took the Osama Bin Laden thing
the media/government has been shoving down our throat line,
hook, and sinker.

1) We fucking created him.

2) We have NO evidence he organized the attacks. He does
support them, but so do tens of thousands of other people, I
bet most of you guys think they should all be tortured to
death too.

He is a god damn symbol for America to direct its hate, he
was the secret ally of the American Government during the
cold war. And if you look closely enough, he is our secret
ally now.

crayon_kid from the inner reaches of your soul... on 2001-12-08 05:56 [#00059021]

oh, just drop it. its hopeless to try and reach a mutual
point of view on this so just drop it.

1: destroyer, as the kids say these days, 'owns'

2: i dont think anyone is a product of anything but
themself. if you are too weak to make your own calls and
make yourself a sociopathic victim instead, than you're
weak.
osama is not a product of any government. humans have the
ability to make thier own decisions. revenge is something i
dont take part in personally. and i choose to not say '
you've forced me to do this, now i kill you! '. instead i
say 'oh fuck it, im over it'. and life goes on.
i dont really care if osama dies or not, its not gonna bring
anyone back to life. just like when timothy mcviegh was
killed. nothing changed. i also dont want to see anything
like the wtc disaster happen again, in any country. so im
kind of stuck between myself on the issue.

Has anyone actually considered whther this is all of
americas fault. All we heard everything from is the media,
and america want oil, and could use oil near afghanistan,
and Bush is a lunatic. This whole thing could easily be the
solution for what is otherwise a dead-end problem for
american government.

I am not saying its definite, but I wouldn't beleive it any
less than the bullshit I hear on television day after day.

Scary Bear on 2001-12-09 16:53 [#00059188]

and FBI are government operated so of course it is going to
say on their website that Osama B. did it. Has anyone ever
seen him? does he exist?

oh, has anyone seen that wag the dog film. I think it is the
one with dustin hoffman, where they make up a make beleive
war on television only. For business or something.

Xanatos from NYC on 2001-12-09 19:14 [#00059206]

scary bear: Who knows if he exists. He's just a
figurehead, it really doesn't matter if he does, as long as
the American public believes he does. That way the American
public can have "closure" when the government kills him, or
fakes his death.

Wag the Dog has never been more pertinent than now...in my
opinion.

Has anyone read 1984? You know how the face of "big brother"
is created as it is easier to love than just "the party", in
much the same way as it easier to be scared of "the devil"
rather than just sin. Similairly Osama Bin Laden is not
exactly a scapegoat, more a figurehead of the al-qui-ayda
network that it is easier to hate than a faceless
organisation. Whilst I'm not saying he has nothing to do
with the attacks, he no doubt makes it easier to rabble
rouse and generate support in the populance. As the number
of Bin Laden hate parodies on the net have shown.

That said, he's a stinking rag-head and should be shot on
sight without trial ;) just kidding.

Xanatos from NYC on 2001-12-09 21:19 [#00059238]

Yep, its definately time for everyone to re-read 1984.

Not to get all philosophical or anything on you, but now
that you mention that 'sin' thing...

The creation and worship of Graven Images is a sin! The
reason why? You are supposed to worship a non-physical god,
not manifest him into a golden statue or icon. But what do
you see in every single church? People worshipping a statue
of the virgin mary, or this guy who got nailed to a cross
2000 years ago for saying we should all be nice to each
other. The reason why? People don't really understand
their religion at all, and its much easier for them to
worship this symbol rather than have any kind of real
spirituality. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying every
Christian is an idiot, or is less spiritual than anyone
else. But most organized religions are 100% the opposite of
what was preached by their prophets! Jesus walks around in
the desert for 40 years in a loin cloth saying you don't
need to worship god in a nice building, or with fancy
clothes. So how do we worship him? In huge palaces with
golden roofs proceeded by guys wearing kingly clothes with
scepters and fancy gold-threaded headpieces!

The point? We're being manipulated by these false icons,
then and now. And noone put it better than Orson Wells in
1984. Probably best to read it now before they ban it.

GEMMA PATTERSON on 2001-12-09 21:57 [#00059256]

OSAMA IS MEAN!!!! I WISH HE WOULD GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ceri JC on 2001-12-09 22:01 [#00059258]

I only ever bow to the alter in my church if other people
are about (to avoid pissing them off or looking proud),
Usually, I just sit there knowing that God is everywhere and
that it doesn't matter where I look. It is true that many
people (Particularly the Roman Catholics) look at
icons/rosaries saying it helps them to focus. If you're
going to use anything, use the sea or night sky. At least
that was you're looking at something *God* made. Not some
cross carved by a man. Incidentally, the statue of Christ in
the local Cathedral was made by a jewish guy and doesn't
have any stigmata! How's that for weird?

bumblefuk on 2001-12-09 22:03 [#00059260]

1984 was written by GEORGE ORWELL, a modern parable, nothing
to do with....

Orson Wells directed Citizen Kane, a ground-breaking
movie.... Orson Wells performed War of the Worlds on the
radio but did not write the original book which was by....

HG Wells... who also wrote The Time Machine, and the basis
for the movie Things To Come.... which is really all
starting to get off topic but are all interesting and good
to read or see....

Ceri JC on 2001-12-09 22:04 [#00059261]

Oh, the other thing that cracked me up was that I was
invited to a service by some Jehovah's witnesses and when I
went they all gave me funny looks because I was wearing a
leather jacket and jeans (they were all wearing suits/
Sunday dresses). I don't recall Jesus wearing particularly
expensive clothes to pray in.

bumblefuk on 2001-12-09 22:05 [#00059262]

I did not mean to imply that The Time Machine was the basis
for Things to Come... just poor writing on my part

PhalanxGod from deep shit on 2001-12-09 22:18 [#00059269]

I think the US is a terrorist as well. They're supporting
tose Northern Alliance guys who are just as much terrorists
as the Taliban people. Bush is so fucking afraid Afghanistan
will do some serious shit to the oil countries that he
fights terrorism with terrorism. BTW Bush is an asshole. Al
Gore should've been president!!!

bumblefuk on 2001-12-09 22:20 [#00059273]

don't get me started on Jehovahs Witnesses... damn.... i
know im bashing and a meanie and all that... but damn...
such ignorance... the mentality is basically, howerver they
interpret something must be correct because this god would
not let them interpret the bible incorrectly because they
are true christians... i tried to discuss things a couple of
co-workers wanted to talk about it was absurd... once they
made a big deal about the bible saying that the world was
round (a bizarre and rather vague line to make such a big
deal about), then discovered that neither of these guys even
knew that the earth orbited the sun, knew even the basic
idea of what an orbit was, or knew what the difference
between a star and a planet was, nor had any desire to
learn, which made it very hard to actually have an a
discussion... nor did they have any concept of a timeline in
history, 200 years was the same to them as 2000 tears... i
tried to nice, read their pamphlets (which they geve to me
free, then tried ti ask for money the next day), but since i
would not agree with them, they got made and then insult me.
one guy told me twice that as proof that he was indeed a
real christian, that if he was not a real christian, he will
kill me. but since he did not kill me, that was proof that
he was a good christian. i've never killed anybody either
so i must be a Jehovah's witness also. bleh

bumblefuk on 2001-12-09 22:23 [#00059275]

wow, my typing was really bad, can one develop dyslexia
after childhood?

Ceri JC on 2001-12-09 22:26 [#00059277]

Yeah, I disagree with catholics a lot, but I'd still call
them Christians. Jehovahs witnesses on the other hand are
creepy and definatley something else. The only one I ever
met who was cool was a woman called Mrs. Absee who worked
with my mum and used to look after me when I was little.

Props to ya if you're reading this Mrs. Absee!

They've got this really hierachical secrative structure that
reminds me of what I've heard about the mormans or the
Masons. They also strike me as the type of people who are
like wall street bankers, but obssessed with leading
people.

1984 is brilliant.
so is brave new world by a. huxley

they are both amazing authors

Xanatos from NYC on 2001-12-10 04:13 [#00059463]

huxley was a crazy bastard.

Yeah, I meant George Orwell by the way, easy names to
confuse. Still making the same point though
