yeah he goes to the grey havens. it actually ends very much like it does in the movie. in fact the last sentence in the book and the movie is something like: "...'well i'm home' said Sam." |

of course the scouring of the shire was also taken out of the script. which included the ousting of Saruman who was governing the Shire and known to the locals as "sharkey." Saruman eventually gets murdered by Wormtongue who slits his throat. |

also in the book Frodo wakes up and it was all a dream, they seem to have missed that bit out in the movie also ! |

i wanted evil to win. and i was hoping that frodo was going to fall into the river of magma because frodo pisses me off for being a wimpy little bitch hobbit. and i wonder if hyakusen will change his avatar now that golem is dead. (i hated that avatar, but i have grown to love it. i picture hyakusen as golem himself now.) |
