Yes it is a synth, but it also has some samples built-in that you can mix with the generated tones. I'm also checking out the Waldorf Attack - unfortunately there does not seem to be a way to use samples in it. Looks to be a much more powerful instrument though, I could make two tracks, one with synth drums and one with samples, and then record them together and slice it all up and load the individual slices in Kontakt.... but then the sounds will be static... |
