I'm not the biggest NIN fan, but this song is so damn
good... the melody in the second half is so epic and
moving... anyone else love this song or can recommend
similar piano music?

I dunno if it's similar but try some Harold Budd, you can't
go wrong with him...

check out other nin tracks from the fragile, and of course
as mentioned, still.

select cuts from the fragile you might enjoy:

the frail
even deeper
la mer
great below
the mark has been made
the new flesh
ripe (with decay)

i used to listen to this track a lot too, loving it... =)

i don't listen to NIN as much as i used to but it's a fine
track. - and yes, if you haven't got it yet, get The
Fragile, it's a masterpiece of an album.

Yes, I prefer the quiet version of "The Day The World Went
Away" also. I'd recommend getting Soft Black Stars by
Current 93. It's pure piano and vocals except the last track
"Chewing On Shadows"

steve > yeah.... if you can get it...

(i'm sure by soulseek you can but if you want to buy the cd
it's unfindable =))
