Yeah so like My wisdom tooth keeps biting on the back of my cheek. Its a huge red and white can-core now : P
My dentist is a cunt and we are suppose to get another insane snow storm so I just thought I'd take my pliers and yank it out.
I have absolutly no common sense, I figured it would hurt but I won't die or anything would I ?

It is conceivable that you could die through blood loss or an infection, but unlikely. You will also find that trying to extract a wisdom tooth with pliers is very difficult.

It's too slippery. Maybe I should go into my work shop and grab some wire. Like wrap the wire around the tooth then around a hammer or something tuff.
For the blood I figured I would just have a towel in my mouth for the next 2-3 days.

the roots are too deep.. you'll never do it. and if you did, you'll wish you hadn't. you have my sympathies. all 4 of my wisdom teeth (2 in particular) are causing me hassle.. i ought to go and see my dentist, but i keep ignoring it.
its not a problem all the time. but whenever it is, i wait til its not before deciding i can wait a little longer (if that makes sense)..
i dont trust my dentist either.. he has the shakes (seriously), its really unnerving.

getting your wisdom teeth out (by a dentist) can be easy or extremely painful depending on how your teeth are sitting in your jaw.
when i had mine removed, it was excruciating. they gave me vicodin and it didn't work. it didn't even take the edge off. tremendous pain for two straight days, then a few more days of incredible discomfort.
i've met people who have said it's absolutely painless and other people who have sworn it was as bad or worse as my experience.
so i recommend going to a dentist.

isn't the root really deeply embedded into the bone of your jaw?
which is why when a dentist is rummaging around in there with one of those hook-things and it snags, it almost feels like the dentist is trying to pull your skull out through your mouth.

I'd leave well alone. The pain alone would probably send you into some sort of shock.
Just drink some booze to ease the pain for a few days until you can see the dentist. Putting a bit of whisky or brandy in your mouth and letting it sit around the affected area for a couple of minutes before swallowing (or spitting it out if you don't want to get drunk) is a surprisingly effective local anaesthetic when used in the mouth. I've been having the exact same problem recently and have been using this method over Christmas.

Of course there are; I've known two people in my life with not only perfect teeth but also huge jaws which accomodated their wisdom teeth no problem.
It's just an evolutionary fuckup; as our skull changed there was no reason to discard them as they don't actually cause death.. they just sit in their, erm, sucking lots of dick.

i don't believe someone could actually remove their teeth with just pliars, but maybe he could rig up a rube goldberg-esque apparatus or break the tooth into many pieces or have a friend help him... i think it's possible to get the thing out.
but i think it's a terrible idea because it could get infected, and that could kill you. not to mention the pain involved.
tolstoyed - not everyone has them out. sometimes it's necessary, but don't worry about it if it isn't a problem for you.

Depending on the individuals situation with their wisdom teeth, the proceedure differs...
Mine for example - had to be broken into smaller pieces first, and then those pieces were removed indivdually. I had all of mine done at once, but i recieved drugs that put me under for the whole operation.

to get it out, you're gonna have to crack it into bits first. trust me, it will only hurt for a second, then your natural endorphins will kick in and it will stop hurting. trust me. once you crack it, it just slips out, no problem. you can trust me. crack it and it just slips out like a corn off a cob or a seed out of a watermelon. trust me.
