What songs have little things that make you just comletely
get pissed off, or to some extent, feel that it ruins the
song.

For me it's the ending to Surripiere (Autechre - Draft
7.30)

once those damn "wuhhhhh" start coming in around 7minutes or
so, I usually have to turn it off. :/

'Don't fear the reaper' by Blue Oyster Cult. The weird break
in the middle of the song. I'm used to it now though.

They played this song on Discovery as a break between
programs. You see an eagle soaring through the skies, then
they switch to some footage of a hunter.

I can't think of individual bits of songs but I can think of
songs that ruin albums for me.

Getting Ahead In The Lucrative Field of Artist Management
ruins Psyence Fiction.
The album version of Frontier Psychiatrist ruins Since I
Left You.
Alpha and Omega ruins Geogaddi.
Every track bar Turquoise Hexagon Sun and Olsen ruins Music
Has the Right to Children.
Precursor ruins Supermodified.
Green Calx ruins Selected Ambient Works Volume 85-92.
A Punchup at a Wedding ruined Hail to the Thief.
The untitled track ruins Endtroducing.....
Royksopp's Night Out ruins Melody A.M.

"slow jam."

ruins the track.

QotSA have a lot of that annoying crap on their albums that
i end up skipping through.

oh yeah now i got it...

vordhosbn gets all vibrant melody-wise about halfway through
then just dies almost through the last minute. irritates me.
still love the track though....

wait a minute - i LIKE that part. Damn it, why can't i think
of one?

most of the flatulence-sounding parts on draft 7.30 songs

Too many songs have stupidass intros that go nowhere and do
nothing except for ''crazy experimental sound'' purposes. I
can't think of any offhand because I'm exhausted, but I know
they exist and they're a pet peeve.

I also hate the goofy outro for Peter Gabriel's Solsbury
Hill. And Autechre's Rae starts off as one of the best
tracks I've ever heard, and ends as one of the most boring.
Too bad it's not 3 minutes long.

surely more!

oddieblender, i love that part in vordhosbn

its a huge buildup

slowly going out of control then just BAM it kicks back in
(the bass is INCREDIBLE) and it smooths itself out

a lot of the time, decent dance music gets lumbered with
some shit vocal on it for pop charts..
that usually pisses me off.

i agree with some of you, disagree with others.. (isn't it
always the way)

but how about this suggestion..
virtually every "skit" on every hiphop album ever gets
annoying after a while.
