RDJ has released some damned good stuff over the years, but, Christ, some of it is really pretty bad. For example: Tha (SAW) The last 2 tracks on SAW The 2 Mescalinum United remixes on Classics Digeridoo Most of the Caustic Window stuff The Polygon Window track on AI2 - it was shit! Track 21 on SAW II The 2nd and 4th tracks from On The third track from Ventolin Wax the Nip, and Cow Cud is a Twin (ICBYD) About half of the stuff on RDJ Album Milkman Donkey Rhubarb Come To Daddy Vaz Deferenz He has really made some crap music, don't you think? |

I like a lot of the tracks you mentioned, but no way anyone's genuinely going to like everything he puts out. Can't believe you left out track 2 from AB3. Maybe at 3-4 minutes it would be tolerable, but if memory serves it's like 8 minutes long. |

yeah, with any artist, no matter how much you love them, you aren't gonna love everything... I love most of the stuff I've heard by Aphex Twin, but from each album theres probably a song, or two at the most that I don't like... with ICBYD its Ventolin, with the RDJ album its Logon Rock Witch... with Come to Daddy its probably funny little man... anyways, you get the picture... |

everyone knows that aphex twin just rips off pearl jam and greenday and robert miles. his worst song by far is "sweet emotion" off of Appetite for Destruction of course no one can forget the beautiful track, "cum on feel the noize;" a classic tribute to the great paul reiser. |

Yesss... I tell people that I don't like every single track by AFX and suddenly I'm a Moby fan! Moby, let me tell you, writes slow, banal, asinine tunes that helped contribute towards this sudden commercial flowering of "Chill Out" albums, most of which are half-full of tracks by Enya and Groove Armada. Let me be clear - Moby, give or take a tune, is a heap of shit. AFX is my favourite artist, by a long way. I do think that Caustic Window J5 and J9 are mostly rubbish, as well as a couple of his B-side tracks. But then loads of you guys are telling me Drukqs isn't that good. Drukqs is an excellent album, way better than the RDJ Album. Classics, too, and SAW II are great albums, much more ambitious than I Care Because You Do and Come To Daddy. It is only when Aphex releases stuff like this, or such stuff as Ventolin and the equation track, that he actually does anything genuinely new and exciting. The rest is good, but could have been written by just about anybody on the Warp label in the last ten years. |

My aphex tastes change all the time. I make it a policy not to make mixes but to burn complete CDs in order. It forces me to listen to some tracks I wouldn't have liked a month ago, but are now my favorites... I first got drukqs, thought there were only 3 good tracks on both cds. Now I realize there are at least 8! Keep an open mind. Except for Ventolin =) Ventolin sucks |

I respect it and actually like most of it as legit music. the analogue bubble bath has produced some annoying songs, yes track 2 on abb3, jesus y is it so long!!!!!!
