Pardon me for being a dumbass, but... What exactly are cookies (I know they're round discs of doughy goodness and chocolate morsels in real life, but what about these internet 'puder cookies), and how would I go about turning them on? well a cookie is sort of like a little tag on you. where ever you go, the cookie can send information back to the person who put the cookie on you as to where you've been. it's sort of a privacy issue, you can go into control panel and change your internet settings to not accept any cookies or accept some. it's usually for big companies to know where their customers go on the web. |
