I found some of the humour to be very clever...especially
those relating to the dynamics and space of the panels
(bored, compactor)....my biggest problem was with the
rendering..maybe using a finer point would free up some more
space as well as enable you to add just a few more details
in the panels....because right now it is a bit hard tell
what's what...

yeah I am with with qrter on the Akbar and Jeff
comparison....and that's quite high praise indeed...

I like the more nonsensical ones a lot, like Beehive
Backpack. All the ones I read are pretty cool, I like your
drawing style too.

Most pointless comments ever, but whatever.

i thought some of them were quite good, i like the drawing
style too. I think you need to make the dialogue a little
more legible, and maybe use a thinner line to draw. :)

i like your graphic style! =)

for the stories, it depends, some are funny, some are...
nothing. but that's the same with all webcomics, or almost.
(just more or less...)

thank you...and they're not all supposed to be funny...i
feel that they should just exist, like the characters have
their own life as eveyone else has their own, and their
lives are humorous at times. others not so, rather
just...being.

Yeah, i'm not laughing one bit. My taste in humour (and a
lot others) is more for unpredictable, outrageous, witty
brand. Although, i thought 'tee hee' when I read "dinner
III" I never actually laughed physically.

the art is kina cute though.
maybe you just need to illustrate somebody else's stories or
something. those pointy nose guys would work well in
children's books i think.

thanks.
perhaps, my stories are a bit weak i'll admit. right now i'm
trying to do different things with the drawings, as you
might have seen i've been getting away from doing the
strips. not so sure where i want to go with it.

Ok, some constructive critisism from here (im trying to do
this myself you see). The drawings are ok in themselves,
very cute and likeable, but try to avoid that "talking
heads" syndrome (every panel is basicly the same, and the
humour must carry the strip). i think great comics must vary
a little from pic to pic. Calvin & Hobbes, like it or not,
is a great example of how to achieve this. Appart from being
very well written, the great drawings really add to the
comedy (in calvin & hobbes). Also, you are in your strips
fixed to do like 6 pictures, but experiment more with that,
it looks to samey.

The humor, i dont really get it like many on the board, but
i really think it has potential, that sort of both cute and
strange. but you know, agree with yourself what you want to
do, and just try hard. Post your new stuff sometime, i want
to see it.

Hope this helps!

DirtyPriest: thanks for the insight. i'm going to go look at
all my old calvin & hobbes books when i get home now. i know
what you mean - things need to vary to stay interesting.
will bump this again when new stuff is pleasing me.

qrter: thanks! that was a funny day. i really got all
jittery cuz i don't usually drink caffeine.

I agree with DirtyPriest about the talking heads - you need
to make the art speak more, thats what is most interesting.

it might be a good idea to work some kind of story arcs into
your comic, so it becomes more linear etc.

it seems like it's trying too hard to be random for the sake
of randomness. which i don't really find funny. if it's
random and meaningless all the time it looses it's impact.
randomness is only funny to me when it's surrounded with
logical events.

but i really admire your ability to take constructive
criticism about it. keep it up.
