Fun updates, nothing more. The 64 version's one player was
absysmal but the 4 player race was very fast and good fun.
Double Dash is pretty good but the interest doesn't hold as
much and I haven't played it for a couple of weeks now. The
main problem with the sequels is they completely fucked up
the battle mode. It's nowhere near as good as the original.
Plus most of the skill you had to aquire to be a hardcore MK
player isn't required either... damn I really need to buy
another SNES...

I think the beauty of Mario Kart on the SNES was its
relative simplicity. You really felt in control of the kart
and there weren't too many distractions.

I should never have sold my SNES. It was worth keeping for
that game alone.

i felt that was more a license-cash-in rather than a quality
product. The SNES mario Kart is definately better than the
n64 version.

Secret of Mana (with multitap),
Super Street Fighter 2
Legend of Zelda,
Chrono Trigger,
Super Bomberman 2 (with multitap),
Super Mario World and
Super Mario Kart were the greatest games on the SNES, no
questions asked.

FF6, Unirally and Super Probotector comes close though...

I just got 43 SoM songs froms someone on soulseek, but I
don't have have any by the name of Dark Lich, Pure Land, or
Crystal Forest... Is it possible that some (or all) of mine
are misnamed, or are there even more SoM songs out there to
get. I would really like to hear the ones people are
recommending.

The gameboy advance version is pretty good. It's the most
similair to the Snes original.

Street Racer is a good similar game on the snes... there's
even a 4 player mode with a multi tap.
