orangedust = trent reznor

I'm pretty sure this guy "orangedust" pretending to be from
down under, is really just a side project for trent.

Silent Lies the Beast (Wolf Mix) baffles my mind. It's so
fucking good.

It sounds like something NIN would do too, lil haunting, but
hopeful.

I think I need to make my own label just to sign you mate,
this stuff is so good it's unreal.

nah. e's a different breed.

but delicious, nonetheless. i quite agree with you there.

i'll have to check out that track because nothing OD's ever
done has sounded NINish to be. i have heard OD's forays into
other genres than happy glitchy idm and those have generally
been successful!

no, I know what you're thinking travis, but listen to it,
and tell me it's not trent at the knobs.

this is gold

even if warp records contacted him, and said "please send in
a demo, we are DYING to release your music", i think od
would just be like "meh, I dont like sending demos"

i'm downloading it now and will post my comments as i
listen.. i have the biggest collection of OD tracks, it's
disgusting.

yea this sounds a little like some of the funk trent was
going for on 'right' disc of 'the fragile' (where is
everybody?, into the void..) and some of the same hollow
kicks. oh yea and there's that acid squigly thing that
sounds slightly closer-ish.. then a sad little melody in the
background and then BAM! it kicks in with that big ass
riff.

i hear exactly what you mean, it sounds like trent if he did
his music on fruity loops.

dope fucking track. thanks for alerting this to me, blatant.

(?) mb or something (a clint mansell one i think) but I
registered to see the thread and I'm having problems getting
to the thread. I have the url but after I log in it says I'm
not logged in and can't see it.

But when I go to login it says i'm logged in. hahah such is
the net.

BUT THANKS to all you people here, you're always there with
encouragement and I REALLY appreciate it. :D x 100

and yeah if warp contacted me askingfor a dmeo i probably
would send one - I'm actually trying to contact monotonik
about doing an EP but they haven't replied to me yet.
I was gonna call it "BITCHEZ AND SANDWICHEZ" haha
