eep! good thing i quit ecstasy! :D

plus i only did it about three times over a two month period
of so - so i should be alright. but if my kid comes out with
a third arm, then the friends who introduced me to this are
gonna DIE.

and they have done a LOT of ecstasy. their kids are prolly
gonna be hunchbacks.

ok, it mutates your dna...but what exactly does it mutate?
How exactly does it effect the children? (i'm sure that most
of them'll be e-tards with low brainwave functions). also,
how much x does it take to mutate the center of my tootsie
pop? 1, 2...3? I'm sure that in order for it to do anything
drastic you'll have to consume so much that'll you'll
recieve extreamly noticable short-term side effects.

i'd like to see their experiments that led these ppl to this
conclusion. I'm sure it DOES mutate dna...but i'm sure it'll
have to be and insane amount.

drugs are cool and you know it.

i live in a muslim country so i can't touch the stuff or i
will get screwed. But it does make it nicer and someting to
look forward to when i go back to england.

Pills are bad and dirty. shrooms are the best.

oh well, looks like i'll have hunchbacked kids. But in these
days of ultrasound scans and abortions i guess it aint all
bad.

and on a cynical, argumentatvice note -- one webpage with
some unsupported claims that dna mutation happened when
ecstasy was given to animals (rats? mice? rabbits?) does not
convince me of anything. Not that im refuting the possibilty
of long term side effects. but surely its possible that
feeding mice ecstasy may have different side effects to
feeding humans ecstasy.

perhaps i may post a 'to all u alcohol drinkers thinking of
having a liver in the future' topic.
live and let live

> aha, this reaction would be a bit easy and irresponsible
from you, mister!!
if they introduced you to it without forcing you to
take it, you had the choice. and by taking a drug, you can't
say you didn't know you were talking a risk.

please.
take your own responsabilites when you take a drug.

i am skeptical of mainstream published reports such as this
because i am well versed in the long standing western
tradition of amplifying and distorting research to
discourage drug use.

i don't advocate any drug use in particular.

but what these scientists aren't telling you is that these
changes do not mean necessarily that there will be an
observable effect on the dna or health of your offspring.
these effects were observed in laboratory animals, and we
don't know what quantity of cocaine or mdma the animals were
given. also, they don't bother to mention how many legal
pharmaceutical drugs exert the same kinds of effects.

although one is taking a huge risk when taking a black
market product (you don't know who manufactured it, or under
what circumstances, or if it's bona fide etc), i think it is
counterproductive to disseminate misinformation, even if for
a positive cause. honesty is the best policy.

who here is familiar with the enormous world health
organization report on the effects and use of cocaine from a
few years ago? no one, probably. the united states
government suppressed the report and threatened to withdraw
all support for the w.h.o. if the report was published. so
you can only access the report on the internet. the report
stated that the vast majority of cocaine users used the drug
in moderation and did not develop addictive behaviors.

the sole cause of death remains being alive. the best
advice is, don't drink from the poisoned well.

point well taken.

guess you could say too, if you didn't use drugs, you
wouldn't have to worry about any of this stuff anyway.

what i mean with live and let live is 'if u dont do drugs
fair enough, but why post messages to 'dopeheads' pointing
them to goverment misinformation?
thus my point about an anti alcohol topic... because i dont
drink much alcohol should i post topics addressed to 'winos'
or 'alchis' with links to pages about liver disease. No.
because presumably people know the risks of various
substances before they take them.

no drug is harmless - and especially not alcohol, but who
wants to study and publish reports about the side effects of
alcohol anyway? I'm sure many do, but there's hardly any
focus on it.

most likely, in the long run:
alcohol = bad
drugs = bad

life = dangerous, it could kill you.

that link reminds me of the u.s. govrenment's study that
'proved' pot caused brain damage. When people started
asking what they did for the study :

-they forced monkeys to smoke pot through a strapped-on
inhaler. They smoked the equivelant of 40-50 JOINTS IN AN
HOUR!

After they killed the monkeys and checked for brain damage.
There was brain damage but it was because they were
SUFFOCATING THEM with smoke.
