Hey favorite people!
I have worked on this EP for almost a year, so I really hope
you enjoy it.
It's only 7 tracks (about 20 minutes total playing time),
and that's mainly because I really sorted out the tracks
this time. I could have used all my demos, but I think these
tracks are the cream of the crop.

I have borrowed some webspace for hosting, so therefore
it will only be online for a limited time.
If some of you like this and has extra webspace (or other
sharing possibilities like slsk), I would be very grateful
if you could spread this around.

As I have told before, I am without Internet at the moment
(and probably for the next couple of months), so I really
only have this place (and my site) to post stuff like
this. You guys are the first to get your hands on it, and
when I have got a decent printout of the cover, I will send
it to a couple of demo-reviewers. I will of course post the
response here.

Enjoy!..

A whole year of work is a lot to turn down because of
laziness...

I haven't listened to it in it's entirety but so far I can
say a couple of things: One is that the Boards of Canada
influence is loud and clear. This would be okay, except it
has taken over your whole sound and now you sound like a
one-man BoC tribute band. This doesn't help very much
personally because I'm not a great fan of Boards of Canada.

The other thing is that on the tracks I heard, it was
nothing but FruityLoops default sounds.. sorry but this is
unforgivable! I have nothing against samples being used, it
would be hypocritical of me, but to me it just shows
laziness to not go and find your own samples (or at the very
least alter the given sounds), not to mention the fact that
the sounds are far too familiar to be interesting.

You're probably not going to want to keep reading but
despite what I've said, I like these tracks! They are too
inoffensive to be bad tracks, what with your 'nice' melodies
(nice here not symbolling that I can't think of any other
words, they are nice), very easygoing downtempo beats
and all that.

But I can't escape the overwhelming feeling that you've
stolen/borrowed everything from Boards of Canada, from the
melodic style to the backwards sounds to the tiny vocal
snippets.. and this ultimately stops me from enjoying this
music, because I've heard it all before from a couple of
Scottish dudes.

cheers for bumping this anus
...

i downloaded it.. and its good.

well.. its a >5 on the scale from 1 to 10

but.

it sounds a bit empty. Im a biiig fan of boc, and i
personally dont mind music sounding a bit similar. The beats
on drosophilia are great, even tho it sounds pretty floopsy
like xammax sed.

For the emptiness: it needs some more layers, i think. King
of rods is good too, the downtempo boc strings and flutes
influence is very obvious on this one

could have been better if the tracks sounded a bit more
full

overall rating: 7.5/10
