Um... wow This stuff is fabulous. A lot different than Amateur girls go proskirt agents. Lot of computer influence compared to the more analog sound of their previous album, more like their live performances. The second track has a surf drum beat to it, giving homage to the old surf tracks with of course their typical full and amazingly well done drum lines. A lot of drill, fast paced beat with simple electronic lines just to be smashed together with some horn licks. Then the next track back to minimalist beauty. The thing about these guys is their albums keep even the most ritalin deprived ADHD freaks nodding their heads for a full hour. The tracks just all have a different flavor to them, tons of stuff going on, lots of really amazing ideas. Oddly enough the only complaint of the album is the mastering... it sounds really in your face, deep sounds, a little too fully mastered maybe? Anyways, great album, get it/downoad it, and add your comments! |
