ive been trying to remember an 'Aladdin' game that i
played.
was it on PC or SNES? any info? it was a platform-style game

and you had to jump over roofs and stuff, like Donkey Kong
Country kindof

The Genesis version was FAR superior, it had awesome
animation for it's time. Used something called Digicel if I
remember correctly... man, I was impressed. Usually the
Super NES games were the better looking but this was
gorgeous.

The Capcom SNES Aladdin was good too.

It was on Snes, PC and Megadrive (maybe more, but I've
played it on those three).

Weren't old computer games brilliant? The world seemed such
a better place back then. Oh, they were happy, innocent
days. *sniff*

Aladdin for the Genesis was truly awesome. The gameplay was
solid, the difficulty curve was perfect, and there was lots
of variety. It really put many other platformers to shame at
the time. And the swordfighting was nice too - i believe
there was also a unique physics engine to the jumping.

Jafar was an excellent final boss. Nice and intense. In
terms of licensed games, you really couldn't do much better
than this.

I agree with Ophecks and Oddio, Aladdin for Genesis is to
date one of the best platformers I have ever played.. I
would even go as far as to say it is one of the best of all
time, given the limitations of the hardware it was created
for.

It was for SNES and Sega at the time, it was a great game...
pretty fuckin easy though, beat it atleast 3 times as a kid
and 2 times a couple years ago

I don't like those nearly as much as the original games. Two
dimensions are enough for me.
