Snapper...they have released this album from 98/99 called
"Making Bones"...and I must say it's the best i've heard in
ages. Doesn't sound dated

Yup. A fish with no eyes can be called fsh and fish.
You can also call half a biscuit; a cookie and a biscuit.
Magic eh?

Junktion: Not heard of them. sorry

8MB Graphics card that I bought for £80 at the time it was
released.

and maybe a game or two of worms and theme hospital running
at half speed.

i lost my copy of my friend's copy of making bones.. and i
havent seen that album for years.
the first track had that phat double-bass line.
best thing i ever heard red snapper do though. i found
everything else i heard by them pretty disappointing.
shame.

thanks for reminding me that album exists though. id
completely forgotten about it.

been listening to it since I posted this...has a really nice
vibe to it.

Actually I have, for the first time ever, been listening to
a lot of Massive Attack lately too..

I've seen a few of their albums in the stores... and I've
read they are actually a live band? That's cool... I've
thought of buying one of their albums...

As i said above, dont get Reeled and Skinned. Although they
do have a new album out called 'redone' (re done? red one?)
that has a cool cover thats like a little tapestry, you have
to see it to understand...

They had an interesting 'sound' but they never really did
anything with it.

Yeah, they're great. Making Bones, Our Aim is to Satisfy Red
Snapper, tons of great stuff. Nice organic breath of fresh
air.

My brother introduced me to them. Not heard much of their
stuff and not got any of their albums, but what I've heard
my brother playing, from my room, they're pretty good.
Something a bit different:)

I have all their albums...they have a totally different vibe
from the rest of the Warp stuff. Check out Prince Blimey
which is live sounding...a real band playing with real
horns.
