have you ever had one? if so, describe it. here's mine: when i was little i had this dream where i would go upstairs and turn into my room where i would see my stuffed monkey puppet sitting on my bureau. Then i turned my head and looked at the shelf in front of me which had a cup of molding apple juice in a green sippy cup. As i turned back to the monkey (to find that it had developed large fangs and glowing red eyes) i felt a rush of panic as the monkey came skittering toward me. I ran out of my room and as i reached the stairs i decided to kill myself by jumping the whole staircase. When i took off the dream went into slow motion and i woke up when i landed. i had that dream everynight for about a year. no joke. i also used to have dreams of being the devil and eating my moms eyes, ...but that only happened once soooo. |

When I was a small human, I used to dream about a witch living in the closet in the room at the end of the hallway in the basement. Used to have that dream all of the time, but it finally went away after, in the dream, I convinced my father to go with me to see the witches. It turned out there was a huge witch movie-theatre back there full of them. After that I didn't dream about it anymore. I don't know why. |

demon attacks during childhood.......i think it is a common theme with the more creative kids.......... mine when I was a kid, was me being in an old theatre, and watching something that I couldn't make out, and still can't, but I would be in this dark theatre and it was always filled with monster, zombies, nasty looking creatures, etc etc......and my mother would always be there, and I would hold on to her hand and she would protect me from the bloody, fleshy, nasty looking monsters, but we would then go walking through the theatre, up the stairs leading to the top of the theare, and always surrounded by nasties, then all of the sudden she would fall through the floor into a huge hole, an abyss, and I would be looking at her alling, and leaving me, and I would look around at the creatures and they would start to crowd around me......and then i would wake up......... i often dream in the same ficticious town night after night. the places are the same but the "storyline" is different. ive often thought of making a map of this town but im too lazy lol |

I only had these dreams when i was a child. The one i remember most of all... I am in the middle of a very thick dark wood. I am standing in a clearing, there are a few fallen logs placed in a semi circle pattern. Below one of the logs i notice an empty tin of beans. Then suddenly i heard a rushing noise and get a very strong feeling that i am no longer alone in the wood. Then the perspective seems to rotate around me, every now and then i catch a glimpse of something big and black just on the edge of the clearing, hiding amongst the trees. Then i wake up shiting myself. Like you, i had this dream quite a lot in the space of one year but thenthe dream stopped when i was about 14. I would always wake up feeling chilled. |

i'm not tragedy but i had one like that, i fell out of bed and the bed post somehow scewered me and i felt the warm blood all around me. then i'd wake up but not really wake up and it would happen again. ...my dreams used to be so cool |

i had a thread about this, maybe ill dig it up, ......yeah.....but i go lucid a lot too, so recently, nothing much, although i remember some from younger years, like, rummaging through slum apartments, and places i remember from my very early years, but blurred, and dark creatures and vampire-like beings coming after me in the midnight hour....... and then a reoccuring dream of this massive rush of living matter, albeit evil, coming from the window of this house i lived in for 6 months, then the roof caved in and we had to move...... :) |

dam!, sorry i wrote soo much, dont read it if you cant be assed. as a child 5-8 yrs old i would always have two reoccurring dreams: 1. i would be walking up stairs towards my sisters room at night, and when i opened the door "chucky" (the doll) from inside would run towards me with a knife, i would then turn to run down the stairs but sometimes i would be stuck to the floor not being able to move other times i would float down and a few times i would be running but get no where, this dream always took place in slow motion......chucky would always slash at the back of my legs and heels with the knife which hurt like hell.the only way I could wake up was to let chucky kill me or die by jumping from the top floor, the object of this dream I think was to get to the bottom of the stairs before dieing.........as a kid I watched the famous films which terrified me and rubbed off into my dreams 2. this dream would always take place throughout house's sometimes my own. In it I would always be trying to find a hiding place from a big hairy monster who was trying to find me. Sometimes I would hide under beds, couches, closets behind doors. i remember there being a big drum beat that would get louder and faster as the monster moved closer to me. When it did finally find me it would kill me and I would wake up...........again the only way to wake up was to die, so sometimes I would just stand there and let the monster kill me.......this dream was probably due to the which scared the fuck out of me as a kid, even through it was made before I was born. it's weird that my dreams would always be set in houses, maybe it's because my dad was a builder/architect and during the day he would take me with him to clients houses and building sites which was cool to do as a child, oh and also due to freaky films |

I used to have too many nightmares when I was a kid where it would seem like I would wake up but then I was actually still dreaming. One that really stunk was when I was hearing these voices in the walls in my room and could sense someone coming toward the room who wanted to hurt me. I woke up, or so I thought, and went into my mom's room to tell her but then she grew fangs and wanted to kill me. Another weird thing about dreams: Did you ever notice there are people and places in dreams that seem quite familiar, but then when you wake up you never knew that person or had never seen that place at all. |

I get certain locales that recur from dream to dream, also the odd character will crop up from another dream from time to time. As to whole dreams repeating I can't remember that happening. I can get woken up by my alarm, if the dream is good, or I want to find out what happens, I set my alarm forward 20 minutes and then go back to sleep to finish it. |

yes i have noticed that there are familiar objects/places/people in dreams. there's always this green sippy cup in my dreams with mold growing out of the top...i've never had a green sippy cup. |
