the current dove soap commercial on uk tv (litmus paper
graphics) has what sounds like a re-working of aphex twin's
bucephalus bouncing ball in the background.
has anyone else noticed this?
does anyone know anything about it?

why do ppl consider it "selling out"

i think it's great :)
its like an easter egg for all of us who like his music.

like, seeing it on tv,

no one else thinks anything of it
but to those who know, it puts a smile on face

i never said that using his track in ads was a bad thing..
its just good business - you can make a lot of money from
it.

the only downside is when your tracks get overexposed or too
affiliated with certain ads (see moby "play") - but i dont
think this will happen to afx. the nature of his music means
that it wont get played to the point of tedium.. also - i
cant think of many afx tunes i would get bored of actually -
which is a testament to their quality.
