I stumbled on some of my old module-CD's yesterday and
discovered some really neat tracks:

ftp://test:testtest@netradio.pri.ee/Advanced_Electronic.mp3

ftp://test:testtest@netradio.pri.ee/jump_and_run.mp3

ftp://test:testtest@netradio.pri.ee/Druuge_Music.mp3

ftp://test:testtest@netradio.pri.ee/dont_need_your_love.mp3

I had these nice shivers down my spine again when I listened
to these tracks... and if I remember correctly they were
produced in around 1994-97 with amiga.
Brings back some kinky memories..

using LAME 3.93

Yap, checked the files are OK. Maybe you should see if you
can play some other mp3s..?

pasting them to IE should work.. choose to save the files
when it asks you to.

If you can't download it using IE you should try using some
freeware FTP client (i.e. WarFTP)

When I say 'modules' I mean files that were created using
early-age music programs (commonly called as "trackers").

They are the earliest pieces from 'homegrown software-based
electronic music'

Why don't you just post links to the mods? Most of us have
at least Winamp which can play mods, and they take up a good
bit less bandwidth.

Huh, I have SUCH an urge to dig out some old Skaven
tracks...

I converted them to mp3 'cos I thought you could stream
them instead of downloading (I can do it with my IE, but I
have Quicktime player installed which makes it possible)

yeah... :P

the easiest way would be to install Quicktime player and
paste the links to your Internet Explorer.

I'm organizing an event where we play ONLY modules... I
hope at least some people show up :P
