For me, I thought it was rather disappointing. I think
Cylob's new album next year will be interesting to see if
he's evolved musically from his last album (which was
Lobster Tracks if I remember correctly).

Finally picked this up today. I'd heard the mp3s before, but
it's the sort of release where it sounds much better
in high quality.

I can hear Cyclob's influence in this a lot more than
Astrobotnia's. Sounds a lot like the cyclob release "Mood
Bells". This is better than that, but not as good as
Astrobotnia 1 in my opinion.

A bit like SAW 2, I can see myself listening to this in its
entiriety rather than just the odd track. The tracks all
sound pretty samey without the idea getting too boring
(although it might if this was 12 tracks long rather than 8)
and fit together well.

Another thumbs up for Rephlex.

yeah ive had it for a few weeks now, and i have to say it is
a bit samey, the 1st track on both sides (im talking vinyl
now) are different and exciting, then if you treat 3 of the
tracks after on one of the sides as a single song, not three
it seems to flow better, think uziqs tango n vectif
-Phragmal Synthesis pt1/2/3.
Generally, I thought it would be crap and in actual fact, it
its alright, not ground breaking, not particualrly
ambient/dancy/anything really, but it makes a nice change to
the current output of contempories, so i reckon you should
give it a go! at least 1 of the tracks I would classify as
excellent.

It's not too bad... I haven't really liked a lot of Cylob's
work though so I didn't have high expectations really.
Pretty good stuff though, even though I didn't like Mood
Bells much.

weird what you said about that, i was thinking i could hear
too much of the astrobotnia sound in it. its ok but ive not
listened to it much since buying it. there's definately a
lobster tracks sound to some of the tracks though.
