They've done this (to a lesser extent) in the uk. Unnannounced police raids with sniffer dogs. I reckon the drug issue is secondry- the main aim is to desensitise kids at a young age to police presence/searches... if they experience them at a young age they probably won't be bothered about them in 20 years time. |
