Aaaah. My first vinyl Passarani-release. And very good
indeed. Especially the third track. Briliant!

hmm i dunno.. this album goes from sounding like old afx to
old autechre. there are some nice atmospheres but overall,
quite weak imo. not as stunning as the 3d quadrant or ufo :/

Is the last Passarani-release (except Phonok-remixes) from
1999? What has he been doing since then?

Phobiazero: I think the tracklenght on this release is
wrong. It should be played on 45, right? If you compare 6
Katuun to the CD-album version they are not the same. All
the soulseek versions I've found of this release seem to be
played at 33. Sloooow....

this issue is pretty unclear for me right now. there is a
"schnell" version of 6 katun. so there are a few diff.
versions that i'll investigate into when i have time. :)

I haven't gotten around to listening to any of this, yet....
what style is it written ? and who would you compare it to,
if any comparison applies ?

check out the samples, mate. i'm sure they will give you a
hint whether it's your cup of tea or not.

but it's not his best work IMO, 'unspeakable future
outbreaks' are much more epic and powerful. '22nd century'
is damn awesome as well (insanely limited tho).

"there are most likely one more version of this release with
extra tracks: 6 katun (schnell) and eaxade (schnell). anyone
know?"

I have this release with the four tracks (no extra schnell
versions), but I'm pretty sure they are ment to be played at
45rpm. If they are played at 33 (like your trackleangths)
the track 6 katun is not like the version on the 6 katun cd.
