"Lux Vivens" (Living Light)...

The music of Hildegard von Bingen, featuring the great voice
of Jocelyn Montgomery.
Produced by David Lynch...

I got this album in the mail today, and I think it is
awesome. Feels medievel, and fits perfectly with the season
and the weather (it's cold and rainy/snowy)...

Anyone have any opinion on it?
I've had it on repeat now for a while,
and it's great!

Why did David Lynch produse an album? Isn't he a filmmaker?

Parts of this cd makes me think of the first Chris Clark
album!
Especially the intro ("Flame and vision")

I once read an interview with Air who said they'd been to
his home and he was enthusing about making music.

Air had visited David Lynch's home?

I remember he did make (atleast perform) some music, some
time ago...

Yeah, unless I'm getting mixed up. But I don't think so.

david lynch is a filmmaker, painter, musician, and a
thousand other things.

he has written and i think performed some of the original
scores for his films. watch the documentary on the dvd of
blue velvet to see him messing around with an organ. (or a
chamberlain, i forget).
