xltronic radio?

Would you pay for a high quality streaming radio station
featuring IDM and other types of music that get discussed on
this board?

If so, how much would you pay?

Nope. If you pay for something like this i think that it
should have impeccable quality. There are tons of these
little stations that play music like this.

Also i usually make my own set list when i log on the
computer.

Although i like it when XLT radio is up because chances are
that i'll hear something i never heard before

anyone could set up an excellent radio program - just
download Shoutcast, and find someone with a HUGE badwidth
limit to act as a server.

i have to agree.. live365 has a bunch of great internet
radio stations and then there are plenty of shows (such as
mine) on college radio that play IDM.. i really don't think
xltronic has anything to offer that college radio and
preexisting internet radio doesn't already have,
except music from xltronic artists and maybe some
exclusives (like phobia had that cylob "disappointment"
track, that was cool, i'm sure some of the webmasters and
moderators have been given private tracks that they may be
able to get permission to play). but almost all of it you
can already hear elsewhere.

I've just been on the phone with a guy I know at an ISP who
can provide me with bandwidth to set up a station at no cost
:D

Big thing I need to do now is get music to play. I want it
to be legit, but can't afford the licence so it's a begging
bowl around the labels I think! Of course, all you xltronic
artists out there will be playlisted if you're interested...

This sounds cool. Not what I thought it'd be from the thread
title. I thought it was about the xltronic radio. I'd
be willing to contribute something though.

Be it from

zebox.com/giginger

or a musical mix using 12" slabs of vinyl at varying speeds.
Let me know :)

Thinking about it, can a mod please close this topic? The
title is a bit disingenuous.
