WATMM got the news from some kid named Phillie T or
something. Apparently hes like Tom's neighbor. he posted a
pretty detailed review of the lp a while back. the bass is
back!

was the review positive? the bass is back? nice. go
plastic+bass sounds really good me, as long is its not like
dyks stuff, that was really weak.

i heard a sample from the new sp stuff - sounds more like
the hard normal daddy days - the bass is back indeed, which
i welcome - it was the thing about go plastic which irked me
the most, the lack of that bass playing.

I don't know if watmm's post linking works right, you might
have to scroll up and down that page a bit. Its fairly
long, easy enough to find.

beat comes in.....up and down a sirius scale..bang we are in
no fucking about a strange background melody commands your
attention with some deep bass tones...building up and up
getting u hyped and hyped and then it grows and grows around
this lush central melody, all over the place but very
structured madness..dropping to simple 909..then coming back
with hell out the gate with another lush melody apended,
getting u really happy.. it gos wa who wahw how..whatever,
you will be singing/hmming it its classic shit. love it
track lasts 8 minutes and simmers down at 4 minutes and

sonic Perfection!! you lot are gonna love this...

track 4

tell tom to stop being a genius please. steam rolling....

track 5
tom doing another hiphop track..makes bladerunner seem like
it was fillmed in the dark ages...never heard anything like
it...tom is an ultra visitor on this one!! hello tom! then
half way through he bonds it on to a spastic metal davro
penis pump acid..tom mental messy shit...love it!! 8 minu

i'm glad he hasn't completely abandoned the hip-hop
noodling... because unlike everyone else, i thought F-train
was wicked... and way different... a completely different
approach to the genre which deserves some respect

Can we find a 'pre-release' somewhere ?
The small sample posted before is very very tasty. Now it's
time for jazzy drill revenge.

again... I never dreamt he'd go back to that sound again.
:-)

I hope that review isn't fake either, because that guy makes
it sound really fantastic.

Someone fastforward me to february please :-p

well, i've never actually been a huge squarepusher fan. i
don't own any of his records...but out of the few tracks
i've heard i absolutely love port rhombus and beep street. i
might give tom a chance this time around, cause that review
really did entice me a bit. :)

Should be good stuff. Its funny just been listening to the
Beastie Boys and you realise how accomplished as beat makers
and keeping it fresh and interesting they are. I just hope
that ol' Tom isn't go to start repeating himself.

I'd just like to point out that the "clip" of the new
Squarepusher is most likely a hoax.

If you check the ID tag on that MP3, it says that it was
made in Acid.

That's most likely some hacks attempt at being the
Squarepusher.

- Don't you know the Squarepusher?

If it is someone else then they need to release an album of
stuff like that themselves, because the more I listen to
that sample to more I love it.

And if it isn't, give the forger a fucking contract, it's
awesome. Can't wait to get my ears on a nice big 5 minute
