Track three always makes me incredibly emotional.
I bet next they'll do an r'n'b album backed with Hype Williams videos though, as now they've won an MTVE award which makes a pretty high standard for them to keep up to.

Yeah, 'hopelandish' is what I think they call it. On the last album there was still plain icelandic (except for Olsen Olsen) but ( ) is all hopelandish I think.

ya it is made-up if you go to the website and see the lyrics page, the lyrics change to different words everytime you refresh it
its kind of a cool idea cuz some words sound like english if you listen reeeel hard
OH YEAH But i noticed in every song, he only uses about 10-15 words slapped together diffferently. In my head i hear him saying: you sat around the fire - you're so alone - you're so.

I don't get reviewers making such a big deal about the album title, and lack of song titles... who cares? Since when is it the songs titles that matter? It's the music... and you either like it or hate it, but please don't waste a review of an album talking about the lack of song titles...
I just read a few reviews which were like that... it's stupid!!

YAYAYAY sounds exact.
thats the one with the reeeeeeaaaaalllly slow drum beat
and on track 8 at the big "climax" part, after it all comes together and he starts singing in his really high voice - it sounds like he keeps repeating "don't you see"

Yeah it's a good release but I never liked how they stopped singing in Icelandic and began singing this so-called Hopelandish. The music has much more feeling if the text means something, for me at least.
Flugufrelsarinn is a brilliant song and if you understand the lyrics it's an ever better song.

Sigur Ros and Radiohead did both contribute to a music/dance piece called split sides a while ago, but I guess it doesn't really count as a collaboration as they didn't make any music together.

maybe, but I'd say it's fair to say that the majority of Sigur Ros's fans in the world can't understand even the straight Icelandic songs... so, I guess the music is powerful enough... I don't need to know what the guy is saying, cause it just sounds so beautiful... and when songs are vague as to their exact meaning, it's better imo, because you can apply it to many situations...

Yeah it's powerful enough I guess and the fact that () hasn't got any icelandic lyrics doesn't make it a worse album. It's just a bit irritating... For those who didn't understand it in the first place, and even can't here that big of a difference, it doesn't matter i guess.

It's a great album. I haven't listened to it in ages, but not because I'm bored of it... I just want to save up some energy so I can really sit down and cherish the moment some day when the weather and mood is right.
