hi all.
new xanpha track available here
it'll possibly be on my forthcoming album that im hoping
will be out by early 2004.
this will be the last track i release for a while, as im
tired of releasing "tracks" i'd rather release an album.

check it out, and let me know what you think of me new sound

:)

_j.

takes it's time to get goin', doesn't it? ;] but once the
beat comes in around 1:30, i was enjoying. pretty chill
track, for sure. the build-up after that is pretty steady
and pleasant. that main progression thinger that changes
around 3:45, i felt could've happened sooner, as it was
feeling a bit repetative, but i think that's the only thing
i disagreed with. always a pleasure, guy. i'm still enjoying
your last EP. heh.

(and is there meant to be all that dead-space at the end
there? about a half a minutes worth?)

ah lots of very quiet little effects and processing going on
in that last 30 seconds... turn it right up! :)

an edit might be in order.

for me tho, its like "the chord progression i really want to
hear" so its perfect for me... probably why it repeats so
much... i guess i forget that a lot and get too into my own
stuff that it becomes repetative perhaps?

something i will indeed ponder upon :)

yes, i should turn it up. heh. it's late and quiet down
here. i'll have to give it a 'proper' listen tomorrow after
work. cheers, guy. =]

It's got the classic xanpha sound circa eqtoise, Ire Ore,
Ctamin, etc, but with new polished production values :)

Something Radioheadish about the chords, can't remember
which song it sounds like...

Good track I like the finger clicking sound in the drums.
Don't worry about the slow build it, it's interesting enough
to keep the attention until the track starts proper.

heya,

mm. i don't know. this track didn't really do it for me. i
like the stereo flanger effects on the synth pad and the
percussion sounds but i couldn't really get into the opening
melody and chord progression. but yo, everyone else seems
to like it so maybe it's just me. thanks for sharing
though.
