Last night, I dreamt that I was talking with David Byrne
who was visiting from Malaysia, where he was now living and
working and supporting a Buddhist monastery.

Have you ever dreamt of interacting with any famous
musicians?

I could get into a few dreams involving sexual encounters..
but this isn't the kind of capacity in which we usually
discuss tom jenkinson.. at least not at this forum.. heheh..

A while ago I had a dream that Mastodon (one of my favorite
bands) was playing at my school. The singer had to go get
something during the middle of a song so I got to sing. It
was bizarre and awesome. When I woke up I felt like a total
fanboy.

only norman cook, once. i 'accidently' smashed a bottle into
his face, then appologised and grovelled at his feet.
true story.

The funny thing is that, while I like Byrne/Talking Heads, I
haven't listened to or consciously thought about them for
many months.

Also in the dream, I started writing down his address in
Malaysia, until some woman told me that he didn't want
correspondence there.

I think the only dream I've had about a celebrity was when I

was talking to Katie Price. It wasn't anything dodgy, she
had (normal) clothes on and even had her kid with her. I
realised it was a dream when: a) I realised she was talking

without that awful accent she has and b) Was actually a half

decent conversationalist. I'm pretty sure I only dreamt
about her because Tibbar mentioned her on her.

Isn't it funny/slightly disconcerting when you realise that

all conversations you have with people in dreams are
actually with yourself?

Off topic but I simply adore those shades of red and
orange in your avatar.

Once, I dreamt I was the only one invited to an exclusive
AFX listening party a la the improvised set RDJ dropped at
that hotel he remodelled for that weird ambient
celebration.

It was REALLY WEIRD, though, 'cause I had NEVER, EVER heard
the songs he'd played.

I've had shady dreams about Belinda Carlisle before for some
reason. I also dreamt about a fictional band, and they were
incredibly popular and influential, and everywhere. Entire
radio and TV stations devoted to them, etc. Mania. I didn't
like them though... they were mostly in the background of
what was basically an action-adventure dream, but it was
annoying because everywhere I turned, I was hearing or
seeing them.
