Trying to DL the mp3 I get:
"Please be patient! This download hasn't been cleared yet. Please check back tomorrow.
SoundClick home"
I can stream it though. Not a bad track at all. I like the (synth?) piano part to it the best.

good track but i can hear everything some of the synth/pc sounds need to be softer or have the edges faded for the type of track it is imo
and the name of the track how about Gaps in trees

Really enjoyed this track.
Really good solid tight mix, the piano riff is excellent.
The baby sample is really effective too
Great track mate

I think I prefered Trizznack 3 to Gaps in the Trees, I particularly liked the plane flying by at the start (good use of panning) and the dockyard fog bell also used near the start the melody also makes me think of a dock covered in mist. For this reason I'd suggest the track name "Docklands".
NB: I find it Hard to comment on streamed files rather than mp3s as I can't skip about and repeat bits I'm not sure about etc. :)
Why don't you have a listen to this new track of mine I think you'll like...

Ceri: Nice name, I changed it to Docklands :)
Siberia altai mix: Excellent track, I like it, u know that I like strong tunes with a strong melody.
Rudster: Beautiful dark electronica, kinda like old vintage AE a la Amber. I really like it.

sumfingawful - nice track! Reminds me of BOC and something else. Very lush.
the only thing i would have done different is lower the crying baby sample and give the main piano melody a bit more variation. Otherwise this is a great track with lots of background juicyness and sounds.

I actually thought about that too, the baby is too loud!!!
And a little change in the main piano would not hurt the track :)
thanx for the response wheateredsteoner!

"Sooo... about all those SAW 1 style tracks you promised us

yeah, but when I think about it, what is a saw 1 style track???
Is it a ambient track like "I" or "Tha" or is it a techno track like "Pulsewidth" or is it a trip hop track like "Xtal" or is it a track like Heliosphan???? U get my point :)
I dont know what I claimed with that statement about a lot of saw 1 type tracks, so I take that back....BUT I will post a lot of old n new tracks, remixes, mixes etc etc
peace

i thought these two tracks were very good. if they reminded me of any established artists, i'd say older plaid.
i agree about "trees": the baby sample needs to be quiter and the repeating piano motif, while appealing, needs more variation.
in "docks," i think the solo oboe notes sound too much like prepared samples; too simple, uninflected, expressionless. while i like the track, it would also benefit from more elaboration and seems to end unresolved.
although i think they do work in these tracks, samples of children crying/laughing and jet engines whooshing past are clichés.
