I have listend to neon golden. My best friend think it's
the greatest thing since sliced bread, but I couldnt really
get into it. Too much vocal content.

We both laughed at the part in one song where it sounds like
he sings "we are being overwhelmed by hundreds of hawks"

theyre alright, not mindblowing but then again not
everything has to be, just pretty nice.

Yeah, like MachineofGod said, they're pleasant. Pick up the
Phone is a very sweet little song with enough snare rushes
to keep me interested. Wouldn't buy a whole album of it
though.

I like em. Neon Golden has a permanent place in my CD
wallet. It's all very well crafted i must say

yes, it is very good.

it seems like a nice, poppy breezy record, but it does seem
to have a lot of long-lasting value. as skeeves says, mainly
because it is well crafted.

Neon Golden is a very nice album, real mellow (reminds me of
New Order a tad) but with good little subtle glitchy bits
here and there.

well crafted is a good way to describe it i think. the last
song is really nice in particular. i like the piano.

i'm really fond of 'neon golden'. rare example of pop and
electronica in natural harmony. honest, laidback vocals.
yeah, very nice album.

After Geogaddi, Neon Golden was the best album of 2002 IMO.
I have not heard any of their earlier stuff, but I would
also like to recommend Consoles two first albums to you
techno-heads.

"IDM" labels and song titles have reprogrammed me. the word
"phone" looked totally alien and made up.

Neon Golden is an ace album. Pick it up for sure. I seem
to remember hearing that they worked with an electronic
artist, I wanna say Styrofoam. But I'm not sure if my
memory serves me right. Anyone know?
