some possibly existential questions.

2 - do you think there could be a sort of music that
couldn't please ANYONE? at all?

1 - how many people would you kill, if you could do it with
impunity and without any complex at all?

3 - what amount of your life do you think you're wasting?

6 - what is the most important problem in the world today,
according to you?

6 - how bored are you? what do you think of it- boredom, is
it something necessary? do you think we're all rotting,
doing nothing or only useless things? - do you think (some
people do) that creativity can come out of boredom?

877 - how often (if at all) do you think minimalism,
conceptual art, punk attitude etc. are just excuses to do
approximately fuck all and consider it as art?

11 - what do you think about music used as a media to
broadcast a specific message, compared to music used to
transmit feelings? (do you think music engaged politically
or for another cause has much effect?)

49 - can you tell something philosophic about raspberry jam,
white plastic objects, anal sex, green eyes, silence, and
hardcore music? (no, they aren't related.)

5000 - ...and about nothing?

man i love it when you bring up interesting topics like this
Uzim =)

assuming these aren't rhetorical, the answers from my
viewpoint would be:

2 - i don't believe it's possible to establish a genre of
music that's...say..."anti-utopian"? i think every genre has
a different ratio fans to haters, but never at 0% or 100%.

1 - it depends. the motive would most likely be revenge.

3 - time on my comp :P i can't ascertain the value at the
mo' tho.

6 - phenomenon of the human population explosion

6 (2) - quite; i'm not sure = / ; it depends on the
definition of our individual senses of purpose (or lack
thereof).

877 - quite, but i support it anyway.

11 - i think music is all about feeling. ads, commercials,
and television serve the other purpose.

49 - humans founded them.

5000 - if you consume it, you'll die.

2 no

1 - none

3 - 75%

6 - violence

877 - occasionally, but its obvious. when its done well it
is great.

11 - i enjoy them both. Bob Marley and rage against the
machine (1st cd) has combined political message and feeling,
but feeling is your own illusion or whatever anyway.

2- sure. You could throw a cat in a washing machine, record
it and play it backwards, and somebody will dig it. Dogs or
somebody like that. Or someone who wants to shock their
friends with their 'leet avant gardosity.

2- hundreds. I'd make Randy Kraft look like Doris Day.

µ-haha?

3- define wasting? If going out and shagging girls and
getting drunk is ''living'', then yeah, I'm wasting my life.
I don't feel I am though. I'm building up all kids of
worthless trivial knowledge, and that's all I want, all I'm
interested in. I don't want a Ferrari, but I do want to hear
the entire Edward KaSpel catalogue.

6- stupidity, of various kinds.

6- NEVER bored as long as I'm left to my own devices. Too
much music to listen to, things to read, movies to watch,
games to play, etc. I hate having people over, I don't want
to entertain anybody but myself. I dread social situations.
Keep me out of them, and I'm always busy in some way.

877- in some cases, yes it's a farce, but it can be done
well. I like some rawness, but generally I like, music for
example, to be lush and well produced, not jagged or rough.
Polished, but not overly so.

11- fuck political music, I never listen to a word they say,
in the music or away from it. I myself am not political at
all. I don't care what happens to the world, just to myself
and those I care about. Fin.

49- I have green eyes. I've always found brown eyes to be
quite ugly. What was the question again?

5000- .

2 - No because there is always someone out there trying to
be different from everyone else who accepts something for
what it is, instead of judging the shit out of it. My
brothers obbsession with Ryoji Ikeda is an interesting
related example.

877 - 50% of the time. It's like a coin toss, could be heads
could be tails. Somewhere someone is actually trying to be
artistic and somewhere someone is using the concept of
appearing artistic

11 -I think that this works only as far and deep as the fan
base goes to the specific artist/preformer goes.

No I will not fuck you! Sheesh, get a grip!

And no, I don't shag girls. I meant if THAT is living, then
I'm NOT living... because I don't do it. Hence, wasting my
life, and my semen.

2 - no
1 - none
3 - hours and hours a day...
6 - mass ethnic hatred
6 - very, but is is necessary, useless things, creativity
can be born of boredom

877 - i'm sure it is sometimes an excuse to do as such
(particularly in the case of punks)... but i'd rather give
people the benefit of the doubt... i think i value the
artistry in conceptual abstractions a lot more than most
people....
11 - what do you think about music used as a media to
broadcast a specific message, compared to music used to
transmit feelings? (do you think music engaged politically
or for another cause has much effect?)
there is no message that has no sentiment attached to it...
a political song is as much about getting a point across as
it is expressing rage and disenfranchisement, etc.... that
said, when it's done with a ham-fist... it can ruin the
music in the hurry... the same can be said for all music
with lyrics... i might personally prefer more music that is
abstract-centric... but when the message and medium fit
proper-like, it adds a whole other depth to the
communication, and can be very profound in nature...
49 - yes... with ease... do you want me too?

5000 - everything...

2 - do you think there could be a sort of music that
couldn't please ANYONE? at all? no

1 - how many people would you kill, if you could do it with
impunity and without any complex at all? none

3 - what amount of your life do you think you're wasting?
this isn't possible

6 - what is the most important problem in the world today,
according to you? the need to realize our collective
identity and the immediate implications of that realization

6 - how bored are you? what do you think of it- boredom, is
it something necessary? do you think we're all rotting,
doing nothing or only useless things? - do you think (some
people do) that creativity can come out of boredom? people
are not bored, they are boring

877 - how often (if at all) do you think minimalism,
conceptual art, punk attitude etc. are just excuses to do
approximately fuck all and consider it as art? i think most
of the creators take themselves very seriously

11 - what do you think about music used as a media to
broadcast a specific message, compared to music used to
transmit feelings? (do you think music engaged politically
or for another cause has much effect?) music is most
effective when preaching to the choir, in which case it has
a huge impact. otherwise too complicated to comment on
here.

49 - can you tell something philosophic about raspberry jam,
white plastic objects, anal sex, green eyes, silence, and
hardcore music? (no, they aren't related.) they are not
real and as such do not exist; nevertheless, enjoy them
while you can.

5000 - ...and about nothing? nothing is real

2- I'd say most of my higher education was/is a waste of
time.

2 - yes.. if it was just one repeating sound, or only
pure static, or something.. but then again, someone might
still "appreciate" the "artistic value"

1 - none

3 - 42%

6 - violence, religious fanaticism

6 - 7, on a scale of 1-10 (of bored-ness).. we are
rotting sometimes doing non-useless things.. yes, creativity
can be inspired by boredom.

877 - approximately 40,000 times.. or NEVER.

11 - it can work sometimes if done well and
tastefully. it's all up to the individual.. if you are
inspired by it, then it works.

49 - raspberry jam can be put onto toast..,
white plastic objects and anal sex often serve
as an alternative to "normal" copulation or impregnation..,
green eyes and silence are often beautiful,
and hardcore music caters to the caveman/cavewoman in
each of us..

5000 - yes
