Well , one of my bestest ever mates (he was like my brother)
got into drugs ...and now i don't talk to him anymore 'cause
he's so fucked in the past year that he's almost totally
forgotten me.

Not saying you should confront ...just saying what happend
when i didn't.

neither.

stand firm in your own beliefs, and don't let his drug use
compromise it.

if you feel you don't want to be around for his inebriated
exploits, then maintain that distance.

i say make you views known and stick to them. that's all you
can do.

don't so much confront,.. them,.. but constant ly jab at
them,.. like "that shit's gonna destroy your brain" or
"that's can't be good for your health" and stuff like that

if you do confront him,.. make it sound like you're truly
worried about him and don't want to loose a mate

respect the person for who he/she is, regardless of
drug-use.

Get involved in hard drug use yourself, it is the only path
to true empathy.

What type of drugs are you referring to when you say hard
drugs?

you should emphatically express your concern and facilitate
their access to rehabilitation, although you know very well
that the choice must be theirs. intervene as an expression
of your concern as a friend, and maintain that no matter
what the outcome.

you should prolly let 'em know how you feel, but 'confront'
is a bit of a strong word.

you should be able to get across how you're feeling without
being confrontational about it.

there's a good chance they'll slip away anyhow. freinds
come into your life and they fade out as well. sometimes
they come back, sometimes they don't. it's kinda the nature
of things. the best way to deal with it is be open and ride
it out.

don't be to hard on them. there's a high probability you'll
be doing the same drugs in a couple of years.

:)

the shit you say can come back to bite you in the ass.

been seeing someone that is into coke (which I concider a
hard drug). The thing about it is that around here (in my
one starbucks town) its basiclly household chems mixed with
icing sugar and is sold as coke. And its oh so trendy if
your into the local music scene. Its so fucking stupid ...

I think I'll just give up on her : \

ANYWAY, I feel like listening too BOC Maxima ...

Thanks everyone !
